At what point will my credit card be charged during the site submission process?
At the end of the entry submission process you will be redirected to a PayPal page. You can pay with your paypal balance or a credit card. As PayPal is verifying your payment information, this process may take a minute. Please wait. Clicking the button again may result in double billing. If you click the “Submit” button multiple times and are double billed as a result, please let us know here. Following payment, your submission will not go live until it has been reviewed and approved by our staff.
Can I withdraw my entry? Will I get a refund?
You may withdraw your entry by filling out this form. However, you will not receive a refund as entries are reviewed at any point following submission.
How can I change my entry?
The following information can be changed on an entry at any time by contacting us here. Please be specific about changes.

- Market URL – The URL can be changed only if it is the same app that was nominated or if it has not yet been reviewed.

Do you have to be based in the United States to participate?
No, The Best App Awards is a global awards system. You can submit from any country, however entries must be in English (US)
Which award should I enter?
The Best App Awards now has multiple entry types to choose from. We designed and added multiple awards to allow participants to choose an entry category that best fits their mobile app. There can be overlap in some of the awards and some apps could possibly win multiple awards – it is up to the entrant to choose which is most appropriate for that particular entry. An app can be entered to multiple awards as appropriate. If an app is entered in multiple awards, it may win multiple times. The review committee reserves the right to move entries to other award categories if it is clearly appropriate to do so.
Can I enter more than one award category?
Yes, each year many app entrants enter multiple award categories as multiple categories allow for our judges to evaluate your entry based on the parameters of each appropriate category, thus increasing chances of winning.

Is it possible to receive the judges rating and comments for my site?
Due to the historic volume of entries, The Best App Awards has not offered individual comments to its entrants.
WINNING AN AWARDHow many entrants win The Best App Awards?
For each of the award categories, the judges will select four (4) Nominees which represent the four best in the award category. Out of the Nominees, one (1) Winner will be selected and will win the coveted Platinum Plus award in that specific award category. Additionally, the remaining three Nominees will also win subsequent awards in that award category, namely the Platinum and Gold awards.
Additionally, entries that are not chosen as Winners, will be recognized as an Official Nominee by the Academy.
