Getting relieve from stubborn headache without drugs

Having headache that persist from time to time, can be annoying and frustrating. Headache is mostly a symptom of many ailments. Mostly often, headache can be as a result of stress resulting from work, emotional troubles, anxiety and lack of sleep among others. As long as we cannot avoid stress and emotional troubles, we would from time to time feel some headache.

Headache traditionally occurs when the veins that supply blood to the brain are twisted a kind of, not allowing for the smooth flow of blood through the muscles. This result when there is pressure on these muscles. Pressure on the muscles can result from exhaustive use of the brain without rest.

Many times we make the wrong decision of rushing, to swallow some aspirin for quick relieve of headache. Although we achieve the aim of getting the relieve we need, at the moment, but at the long run, we keep accumulating the UN-digestible drug constituent that poses a side effect later.

Groping for drugs every time you have a headache may lead to drug additions and the body may at the long run adapt to this UN-healthy habit.

For headache to be controlled, it is important that stress be controlled. Here are tips on how to deal with headache without using drugs.

Sit down in a relax mode on a chair with your back relaxed upright and back on the chair’s back rest. The chair should be about 110o in angle. Your hands should be relaxed on the arm rest, with your elbow folded inward at an angle of 90o. Your head should lean a-bit backward on the head rest of the chair. Let your feet rest on the floor, with your kneel at an angle of 90o. You will need chairs that have these features.

Try meditating. Take your mind completing off all your worries, I mean all the things that make you feel troubled or sad. Concentrate on things that make you feel happy. Do this for some five minutes. The principle behind this is to help relax the veins of the brain. When the veins of the brain are relaxed, they are relieved off pressure that comes from the twisted veins; blood therefore flows freely through the veins.

Lift your right hand up to your face and gently, with your thumb and index finger, hold your head, spreading your hand across your head as if you are closing your eyes with your palm. Try locating the socket so to say that is at the different side of the face just at the area of the eyebrow with your index finger and your thumb. Insert your thumb and index finger softly and massage gently with your thumb and index finger clockwise and anti-clockwise at the same time within seconds of intervals.

Do this for some minutes and try having a brief 5-15minutes nab. You will get up to observe a great relieve from your stubborn headache.
