This makes LYME a greater epidemic than AIDS and Breast Cancer combined. Lyme is fatal without proper treatment.
The only treatment with recognized results is antibiotic administered immediately after the tick bite. There are no effective common treatments for long term, chronic Lyme and or it's co-infections. Lyme spirochetes invade the brain, causing things such as symptomatic ALS (Lou Gherigs), Alzheimers, Parkinson, stroke, heart attack, fibromyalgia, arthritis, seizures, chronic fatigue and more.
With hundreds of thousands infected annually, it is difficult to believe that there is not common awareness.The best treatment for LYME is prevention, therefore awareness is crucial.
