Behind VORBILD Accessories stands Michael Schienke, a Chartered Architect, who decided to translate his professional skills and vision into product design.

Form Follows Function
Our accessories are true to the idea that form follows function. The leather is formed around an iPhone and worked on to adapt its shape. This provides a tailor fit that is both quintessentially elegant and functional.
VORBILD iPhone cases are stripped down of unnecessary elements to make them as simple as possible. They are designed to have a minimum of joins or any additional parts, straps, clasps or buttons. Most importantly, we have completely eliminated a use of any plastic case bases.
The result is a completely 100% genuine leather case for your favorite phone!
Saddlery
The iPhone cases are made out of wet formed leather which is molded and strengthened to follow and to keep the shape of an iPhone. This execution requires precision and mastery of saddlery techniques.
Leather
Not every leather is suitable for our VORBILD cases. After the meticulous process of making prototypes, we selected the leathers which suit our technique. We do not stop here, but are constantly looking for new leathers to add to our range and are in the workshop making new prototypes. Our collection will grow with new designs and leather types on offer, however, if you already have your own ideas, please contact us about our bespoke service.
