Jackie Fame is America's fastest growing youth social network

Las Vegas, Nevada ECRM Conference: The room was overflowing with buyers from all over the US and Canada looking for exciting new products to carry in their stores. As kid brothers Zachary and Joshua auger approached the stage to receive their “best-of-show” award, the crowd cheered. The only kids at the event, these young entrepreneurs had created “The most compelling new line launched at ECRM”, according to Faye Brookman in her article for Women’s Wear Daily following the event. The ECRM event confirmed the boys’ unique approach of tying their targeted tween/teen demographic via their “FAME” social media playground, to their company brand, Jackie Fame, is a winning concept.

It’s simple; it just took a couple of kids to figure it out
From their humble beginnings, the Swauger brothers had a mission. Their mission was to build an awesome place online for their peers to hangout, upload, share, communicate and have fun. With notable inspirations including Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg, Zachary and Joshua, at the ripe ages of 13 and 10 wanted to follow in the footsteps of these great industry leaders – and FAME, Jackie Fame, America’s fastest growing youth social network – was it.

Their network generated over 4 million members, visitors and views in the first 120 days after the launch of version 2.0, with activity and member growth continuing to compound daily. Unlike Facebook, Myspace and others, FAME does not advertise on people pages, and does not sell member information to 3rd parties. It is what makes FAME unique, while creating a safer environment for its youth members.

Jackie Fame's revenue is driven by it's branded products sold at retail partner locations. On each member’s profile page there is a “FIND FAME”locator button. When clicked, the locator matches the member's zip code with participating retail locations. The locator then maps store locations, FAME products sold, and other store information including hours and contact information.

Shortly after launching theirsocial network, the boys wrote and published an internet safety book titled “Kid2Kid Keepin’it Safe Online” sold today at Barnes & Noble and Amazon. Then came the launch of their FAMEbody & FAMEnails personal product lines presented at the ECRM conference. The company’s
first line of products – FAMEbody - is a salon quality line of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body spray, mineral salt, glycerin soap and lip gloss. The products come in in four irresistible scents with sleek packaging and a great price point attractive to buyers representing both online and brick-andmortarretailers. With commitments from nationally recognized retailers, FAMEbody will have products on US shelves in early 2013.

The boys continue to build their business and diversify. In 2013, Jackie Fame and Emmy award winning reality TV producer Allison Chase Coleman, who has produced quality programming such as The Amazing Race, Undercover Boss, Project Runway, America’s Next Top Model and Kid Nation, are creating a new reality TV series titled: The Genius Generation. With FAME functioning as the portal for youth to upload their videos and share their talent while members comment and vote on their favorites, producers will search for talent to showcase on the series. The exposure will continue to drive the FAME brand.

These teen brothers are hard at work, continuing to develop new products and services around the hub of the Jackie Fame brand. Soon to be released products and services include FAME50 - an awesome discount program connecting businesses and members; FAMEfitness - a nutrition and  fitness program for the youth audience; and FAMEit - a cool new visual social media platform.
