AnIdeaNation is a group of self-governing community clusters using the internet space as a forum to self-organize and carry out goals that are important to each community.
The ultimate Purpose: True radical, sustainable, accountable democracy.
First: What defines a "community?"
Any group of people (from all ages and walks of life) that align with a purpose (can include, but is not limited to, a geographic community)
Here is how the "People's Government" operates...
* Self-governing, self-regulating communities who are...
* Aligned with the Top 8 Global Priorities (common language) & who
* Choose 3 goals to work towards within a time frame
* Using video as a primary means of communication online
* With working teams no greater than 8 persons, with sub teams automatically created when the team reaches 8
Each "Community" has these Team Types:
* Research & Development Team - to assess current levels of performance and to determine resources and methods to achieve goals
* Innovation Entrepreneurs (usually around the 3 Goals & Top 8 Priorities) - who take R & D to the next level and develop working models to reach goals and priorities
* Correspondents - who communicate within the network of teams inside communities and between separate communities
* Recorders - who highlight the "Bright Spots" and report processes & events in video, text & pictures
* Crowd fund Operators - who begin crowd funding campaigns on behalf of a self-governed community
Code of Ethics:
1. If you have a challenge with a member, go and speak to that member first & try to work it out before engaging a correspondent to work with you towards resolution.
2. Eliminate negative talk or unproductive chatter (gossip)
3. ALWAYS source out a community's need from the broader global communities prior to crowd funding.
4. Once teams vote and agree they have exhausted all possible resources within their community & others, and it is found that a need can not be filled by borrowing, sharing or gifting, use crowd funding.
Through crowd funding, money raised helps the community achieve their goals.
